Bahawal Gymkhana has a rich history that dates back to 1915 when Nawab Haji Sadiq Muhammad Khan Sb built the iconic Bahawal Club building. In 2021, under the visionary leadership of our president Mr. Kathia, Bahawal Gymkhana was founded along with Zahid Parvaiz and Zaheer Anwar Jappa. Our mission is to provide a world-class community club that promotes health, wellness, and social engagement.

Our Board of Governors for 2022 included Ans Basra for sports, Sharjeel Ibrar for Fine Dine, Ali Akbar Abbasi, Bilal Altaf Jajja for Landscaping and Interior Dining, Naeem Sadiq Cheema for Discipline and Finance, and Amir Nazeer Khichi for Event Committee. For the year 2023, Sharjeel Ibrar leads the Marketing and Affiliation department, Ali Akbar Abbasi manages Fine Dine, Behlol Lodhi takes care of Events, and Saad Ashiq is responsible for sports. Naeem Sadiq Cheema serves as Finance Secretary for both 2022 and 2023, while Farooq Qamar takes charge as the Finance Convenor for 2023. Sharjeel Ibrar, a seasoned professional, assumed the responsibility of Fine Dine, orchestrating culinary experiences that tantalize the taste buds and elevate dining to an art form. Ali Akbar Abbasi and Bilal Altaf Jajja expertly led the Landscaping and Interior Dining departments, transforming our surroundings into a picturesque oasis and curating remarkable spaces for social gatherings. Naeem Sadiq Cheema, as the guardian of Discipline and Finance, ensured the smooth operations of the club while fostering financial stability and accountability. Amir Nazeer Khichi masterfully managed the Event Committee, orchestrating memorable occasions that brought our community together in celebration. In 2023, our esteemed Board of Governors sees the addition of Sharjeel Ibrar spearheading the Marketing and Affiliation department, fostering partnerships and promoting the club’s exclusive offerings. Ali Akbar Abbasi continues to impress with his leadership in Fine Dine, while Behlol Lodhi takes charge of the Events department, curating unforgettable experiences that leave lasting impressions. Saad Ashiq leads the sports department, dedicating his expertise to promoting an active and healthy lifestyle for our members.
